Place the chopped zucchini in a bowl, add salt, pepper if desired and mix.

Mix sour cream, cheese and garlic.
Place the zucchini slices on a baking sheet greased with vegetable oil. It’s better in one layer, but if not everything fits, you can put some circles on top.

Zucchini is a vegetable from which you can prepare hundreds of varied and delicious dishes. At the same time, it can equally well be either an integral part of these dishes or solo. Then cut the zucchini into slices about 3 mm thick.
This time can be used to prepare the remaining components of the dish. Wash the greens thoroughly, shake off the water, and chop finely. We remove the husks from the garlic and chop it in any way that suits you - on a fine grater, through a press, or you can simply chop the slices very, very finely with a knife. The amount of each ingredient is adjusted according to the taste preferences of consumers.
Pour sour cream into a bowl. Add garlic and herbs to it. Add a little salt and season with spices/seasonings. Here we use: black and red pepper, a pinch of ground paprika and turmeric.
Stir the sauce and it is ready.
In principle, the dish will already turn out delicious if you just pour in the zucchini sour cream sauce and bake them in the oven. But you can make it even tastier if you sprinkle it with any grated cheese. We grate the selected cheese on a coarse grater - and now everything is ready for baking.
Turn on the oven to warm up to 180-200 degrees. Oil the pan or line it with baking paper. During this time, the salted zucchini has managed to produce a decent amount of juice - drain it, and put the zucchini itself in a mold, preferably in one layer, slightly overlapping.
Pour the prepared sour cream and garlic sauce over the zucchini. Shake the pan a little so that the sauce covers each slice.
Sprinkle the zucchini with a generous layer of cheese and place the pan in the oven.
Bake zucchini in the oven at 200 degrees. about 30-35 min. If the cheese top begins to brown too much, you can switch the heat to lower. Ready-made zucchini in sour cream and garlic sauce does not look particularly attractive. But, believe me, it is very, very tasty!
