7. Cocktail “Zombie”

One of the most popular cocktails at Halloween parties, it's sure to make you feel a little like the walking dead. Two servings - and you're definitely a zombie!
By the way, it is noteworthy that this is one of the few recipes for alcoholic cocktails that have their own confirmed history of origin. In 1934, the drink was invented by the owner of a very popular establishment in California, Don Beach. The cocktail quickly became mega-popular - so much so that it regularly appeared in many Westerns of the time. Over the years, the fame, of course, has faded somewhat, but Americans’ love for the drink probably remains the same.

Tip: To achieve the perfect black for you, you need to find the right balance of food coloring. Don’t rush to pour in a lot at once - it’s better to add a little at a time, adjusting the result drop by drop.

10 Ideas for Decorating a Cocktail for Halloween

1. The rim on the glass is made of sugar tinted in Halloween colors (black, red, orange) – just what you need to immediately add the necessary holiday accents.

2. Black permanent marker is a great tool for creating the necessary decor. With its help, you can draw simple contour drawings on cocktail glasses - ghosts, pumpkins, a witch's broom, a spider or a cobweb. However, you can do not the simplest ones and not only contour ones - if you wish.

3. Print out a couple dozen small drawings of Halloween-related items - a jack-o'-lantern, a bat, a black cat, a skeleton. Cut along the outline and glue to the cocktail tubes - you have an excellent decor for a glass with a festive cocktail.

4. Olive spiders are a very atmospheric decoration for Halloween cocktails. It's easy to do and looks impressive. However, any spiders (and huge plastic naturalistic monsters that can be bought in any store like “Everything for five kopecks”) are quite decorative. Very decorative too!

5. Cherry syrup and similar things are a convenient “paint” for depicting bloody streaks on a glass. Extremely naturalistic!

6. If you have time and the mood to play, you can make eyes that will lie in a glass of cocktail and scare people with your ugly look. The easiest way, of course, is to buy ready-made ones (jelly candies or plastic decorations), but you can also make them yourself. Small round radishes are the base. Peel them, leaving a little red skin as bloody veins. Cut a hole inside where you need to insert a stuffed green olive - this is the pupil.

7. And by the way, in shopping centers, pay attention to the points where they sell these multi-colored “rubber” candies - among the jelly abundance you can find an excellent Halloween still life: brains, worms, skulls of all kinds, snakes and spiders.

8. A syringe with “blood” (from cherry or beet juice) inserted into a glass along with a cocktail straw is a cool decoration for the drink. Horrible, disgusting and naturalistic!

9. Play around with the glassware you plan to serve Halloween cocktails in. Medical test tubes and chemical flasks, for example, are wonderful choices designed to bring terror to those who want to treat themselves to a celebratory drink on this day.

10. If you are making one large batch of punch in a special large bowl, garnish it with a couple of ice hands. To do this, pour colored water (food coloring, bright juices, lemonades) into a washed medical glove and place it in the freezer. Removing the rubber casing after freezing will give you a great scary hand!

In general... You know best recipe cocktails for Halloween? Mix what you like and want, what you have at home and what your inner instinct dictates, be sure to add a little personal charm and a couple of horror stories, don’t forget to season with fear and horror, add a pinch of the blood-curdling “oooo!” and at the tip of the knife - ominous silence. All!
Well, the main thing is to have fun and in the spirit of Halloween! Happy holiday, cute ghosts and cool guests!

Halloween isn't just about creepy costumes, it's about equally creepy food and drinks! Moreover, everything about them is terrible: both the names and the appearance. An eye pinned on a fork, brains in a plate, glasses with drinks the color of blood or swamp gas glowing deathly in the dark... Brrr!.. Horror! Horrible!

We’ll talk about how to create all this horror in your kitchen. In order for your party to be imbued with the spirit of gothic and trash, you don’t need to run to a specialized creepy joke store or learn how to cook super-complicated dishes and drinks. There are a lot of tricks and little things that will help turn an ordinary dish into something unimaginably terrible. For example, a cocktail decoration in the shape of a bloody eye looks creepy, but is easy to make. Take a radish and peel the skin so that red veins remain on the white background. Cut the center to the size of the olive. Stuff the olive with red pepper or blueberries. We assemble our bloody eye: insert an olive into a radish and prick this structure onto a cocktail stick.

You can also make a wonderful life-like eye from the Chinese lychee fruit: dry the lychee fruit, fill it with bright red jam, insert a blueberry and stick it on a straw or cocktail stick. These "eyes" can be frozen in ice cube trays - just fill them with water and you'll have creepy ice cubes in your glasses.

Ice in the shape of a severed hand in a bowl of punch - how do you like this surprise? Your guests will appreciate it! Take a clean glove and fill it with water or juice. Remember that not all juices freeze! Place the filled glove in the freezer. Before removing your “hand” from the glove, dip it in boiling water for a few seconds. You can freeze gelatin worms and spiders into ice cubes to make great ice for witch drinks!

It’s also not difficult to entwine a glass of drink with a disgusting web. Melt dark chocolate in milk or cream, draw it into a disposable syringe and quickly apply a spider web design to the inside walls of the glass. It is clear that the drink must be transparent.

Well, the classics of the genre - bloody smudges - are generally simple. Mix bright red opaque juice with swollen gelatin, heat until the gelatin dissolves and cool slightly. Dip the edges of the glasses into the resulting “blood” and quickly turn them over so that the drops flow picturesquely down the glass. To make it even more similar, put a few bruises on the sides of the glasses and put the glasses in the refrigerator.

Bright red grenadine syrup will help you turn even an ordinary shot of vodka into a vampire drink: pour grenadine to the bottom of the glass, add ice and carefully pour in the vodka so that the grenadine remains at the bottom.

Halloween cocktails need to be in incredible colors! Absinthe, which when mixed with water gives a cloudy green color, liqueurs of all shades of red, blue liqueur “Hpnotiq”, as well as black vodka, come in very handy. Black vodka is generally a godsend for a horror movie-themed party. Even the classic “Bloody Mary” with black vodka looks completely different, like Halloween, or something...

The cocktail, which looks like brains in a glass, turns out to be disgusting in appearance and delicious in taste. It is also easy to prepare: in any strong alcoholic drink you need to carefully add Baileys liqueur. This is done using a cocktail straw - we put liquor into the straw, hold it with your finger so that the liquor does not flow out, and release it into a glass with vodka or gin. At the same time, the liquor curls into balls. If the trick doesn't work, then drink the failed cocktail and start over.

Well, we've sorted out the decoration, now it's time for the recipes. They are mostly simple and do not require mastery of a shaker. If you can pour layers of cocktail without stirring - great!

Ingredients:
80 g strawberry vodka,
40 g Baileys liqueur,
20 lime or lemon juice,
grenadine,
straw.

Preparation:
Mix vodka and lime juice in a shaker, strain through a strainer into a glass. Squeeze some liquor into the straw, pinch the top end with your finger and lower the straw into the vodka. Slowly release your finger and release the liquor in thick threads. Add grenadine, stir a little.

Celebrating Halloween? What's a holiday without delicious drinks! Do you want to spend a minimum of time and effort, but surprise your guests? Then our recipes will come in handy for you.

Blood of Dracula

This is a warming and spicy cocktail. It not only fits perfectly with the theme of the holiday, but will also be a good prevention of viral diseases. Just what you need for November!

What you need:

– 60 ml vodka;
– 120 g of tomato juice (ideally homemade, but store-bought will do);
– half a teaspoon of grated horseradish (we recommend grating it in an open room, because it makes your eyes water worse than onions);
– a few drops of Tabasco sauce;
– ice if desired.

How to cook:

Place ice in a glass (you can use small jars instead of a glass), pour in vodka, add horseradish, sauce and tomato juice. Mix everything.

How to submit:

We suggest decorating the dishes with “blood”. How to do this? Quite simple. We need to prepare a special syrup. For this you will need: 1 cup sugar, half a cup of water, red food coloring, half a cup of corn syrup.

How to do it? Combine sugar, water and molasses. Heat to 150 degrees without stirring. The mixture should be thick and viscous. Then add the dye and mix everything well. Immerse the top of the glass or jar, edge down, into the mixture. The main thing is to do everything quickly, before the mixture hardens.

Any drink will look cool in these glasses.

Creepy screwdriver

During our student years, we all drank the “screwdriver” cocktail at least once. Simple, cheap and quite tasty. So today we offer a festive version of this drink.

What you need:

– 45 ml black vodka;
– half a glass of fresh orange juice (or juice from a package);
- a quarter glass of ice.

How to cook:

Take a tall glass, add ice and juice. Gently pour black vodka along the blade of the knife. The ingredients must not be mixed! You can try adding vodka using a teaspoon. We highly recommend practicing in advance.

How to submit:

Black straws and gelatin products will ideally complement the cocktail. In sweet shops you can easily find worms, snakes, and mice. They can be attached to a straw, or they can hang from glasses.

By the way, you can cook these worms yourself! You need to make fruit jelly (give half the water specified in the recipe). Mix well. Then take the tubes and tie them with an elastic band so that they fit tightly to each other. Pour jelly inside. Place in the refrigerator for several hours. When the jelly hardens, place the tubes in hot water for a few seconds and squeeze the worms out of the tubes.

How disgusting!

Fog in the cemetery

Milk-based alcoholic cocktail? It's easy! Try this miracle drink - you won't be disappointed.

What you need:

– 200 ml milk;
– 1 banana;
– 1 teaspoon instant coffee;
– 1 tablespoon of syrup (coconut, caramel, vanilla, amaretto);
– liqueur to taste (experiment with both taste and amount of alcohol);
- ice cubes.

How to cook:

It's very simple. As we promised. Break the ice in a shaker or using a hammer. Add milk, banana, coffee to ice and shake it all up. Finally add syrup and liqueur. Creepy milk drink ready.

How to submit:

This drink is thick and difficult to see what's inside. Therefore, you can throw some decorative element into a glass of cocktail: a rubber eye, a spider, a lizard. The only thing is to wash the decoration well before use and make sure that it is large enough. You don't want your guests to choke, do you? Guests will be able to take away the surprise as a souvenir of the party.

You can make several of these and serve various dishes in pumpkins. And then you can make a wonderful cream soup from the pulp!

Nothing will be lost! The seeds can be dried and the pulp cooked

Plucked out eyes

A wonderful and nutritious mix of vegetable juices. We drink them so rarely! And here there is beauty and benefit, and also thematically.

Make a hole in each radish and insert half an olive into it. Pierce this eye with a wooden skewer and place it on top of a glass of drink. If you don’t have any time, you can simply throw olives into glasses; black olives in a red drink will also look impressive.

You'll have to play around a little, but you can eat this decoration

Blood on the snow

This cocktail can be served as a dessert. Incredibly tasty and beautiful.

What you need:

– milk 180 ml;
– vanilla ice cream 80 g;
– cream in a can;
– a few drops of red syrup (cherry, raspberry, strawberry, cranberry).

How to cook:

In a blender, beat milk and ice cream. Pour into a glass. Whipped cream on top. And then a few drops of syrup. The syrup will spread effectively, but will not mix with the drink.

How to submit:

This drink looks original on its own. Therefore, you don’t need to make any special efforts. You can put gelatin candies on top of the cream (for example, spider or worms, which we wrote about above). You can sprinkle it with dark chocolate, imitating dug up earth. Halloween Mocktails

Bloody Punch: 3 cups cranberry juice, 1 ½ cups apple juice, 1 ½ cups cherry juice, 2 cups cola, 1 cup frozen strawberries. Mix cranberry, apple and cherry juices and refrigerate until serving. Before serving, add cola and strawberries. To create the effect, freeze ice in a clean cellophane glove. The sight of a hand floating in a push bowl will add to the fear :).

Blood soda: 1 cup corn syrup, 10 drops food coloring, 2 tablespoons vanilla, 1 liter mineral water or lemonade. Mix corn syrup, coloring, lemonade (mineral water) and vanillin. Wet the rim of a glass and spray it with food coloring to create bloody streaks.

Pumpkin puree:½ cup canned pumpkin, ¾ cup milk or vanilla yogurt, ¼ tsp. cinnamon, 1/8 tsp. nutmeg, 2 tsp. brown sugar, 4 ice cubes. Mix all ingredients and serve. This drink is very rich in taste and vitamins, so it is ideal for a children's party.

Green Slime Soda:¼ cup lime juice, 3 tbsp. sugar, 1 cup of soda, 1 spoon of sherbet. Dissolve sugar in lime juice, add soda, after final mixing, add sherbet and serve.
