It would seem that such a simple dish as pasta, there is no need to cook. But it wasn’t that it was much more convenient to cook pasta in it. There is no need to bring the water to a boil, stir the pasta and drain the water. Everything is much simpler. How? Look below...
1. For 200 g of pasta you will need 350 ml of water. A small piece of butter and salt to taste. It is better to use durum pasta.
2. Pour pasta into the multicooker bowl and add water (the water should be slightly higher than the pasta, but no more). Add oil, salt and mix. Add the oil immediately so that they do not stick together during the cooking process. There is also no need to rinse them under cold water.
3. The Polaris 0517 multicooker has a wonderful “Pasta” program, which is designed to evaporate water. Let's turn it on. Cooking time will depend on your type of pasta. I set it to 9 minutes. Look at the packaging; there are usually recommendations for cooking time. If you do not have the “pasta” program, install the “Pilaf” program, it is also designed for evaporation. Or if there is a “multi-cook”, set it to 100 degrees, time from 7 to 12 minutes.
4. After the sound signal, the pasta in the Polaris multicooker will be completely ready for use. You don't even need to drain the water. They were cooked for me, but didn’t have time to fry. I think if you leave them on the heat for another 5-10 minutes after the end of the program, they will fry on the bottom, which is also not bad. And some people will like it even better.
5. By the way, immediately when cooking pasta, you can install a grill with vegetables. 9 - 12 minutes will be enough to cook them.
6. You can add grated carrots to the pasta itself. Then they will turn out bright and cheerful. (I made these pasta with carrots another time)
